3. Return Eligibility
Customers in the United States may request a return within 14 days of delivery, subject to the conditions below.
3.1 Conditions for Return
• Item must be unused and undamaged
• Item must be in original packaging
• All accessories, manuals, and components must be included
• Proof of purchase is required
Products that show signs of use, water exposure, assembly, or damage caused by improper handling are not eligible for return.
4. Return Process
4.1 Initiating a Return
To begin a return:
• Email team@surfburnt.com within 14 days of delivery
• Include your order number and reason for return
• Wait for return approval and instructions before shipping
Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
4.2 Shipping the Return
• Items must be shipped within 7 days of receiving return authorization
• A trackable freight or courier service must be used
• Customer is responsible for ensuring safe packaging
Surfburnt is not responsible for damage occurring during return transit.
5. Return Shipping Costs
For change-of-mind returns, all return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Due to the size and freight nature of many products, return shipping costs may be substantial.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
6. Specific Return and Refund Conditions
6.1 Change of Mind
• Must be requested within 14 days
• Item must be unused and in original condition
• Subject to a 15% restocking fee
Refund will be issued to original payment method minus restocking and original shipping costs.
6.2 Damaged or Defective Products
You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery if the product arrives damaged.
Required documentation:
• Clear photos of packaging
• Photos of product damage
• Photos of shipping label
Failure to report freight damage within 48 hours may void eligibility.
If approved, we will:
• Replace the product
OR
• Issue a full refund including shipping
6.3 Incorrect Product Received
If you receive the wrong product, contact us immediately. We will arrange return shipping at our expense and send the correct item.
6.4 Product Not Delivered
If your order does not arrive within the estimated delivery timeframe:
• Contact us for investigation
• If confirmed lost by carrier, we will issue a replacement or refund
7. Order Cancellation
Before Shipment:
Orders may be canceled for a full refund if not yet shipped.
After Shipment:
If already shipped, the order must follow the return process and may be subject to restocking and freight charges.
8. Non-Returnable Items
The following are non-refundable:
• Custom or special-order items
• Products damaged due to misuse
• Items returned without authorization
• Clearance or final sale items
9. Refund Processing
Approval:
Refunds are issued after inspection of returned items.
Processing Time:
Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days.
Banks may take additional time to reflect the refund.
10. Exchanges
We replace items only if:
• Defective
• Damaged upon arrival
• Incorrect product shipped
